Genomic Grade™ Isopropyl Alcohol
DNA is recovered from aquaous solutions by addition of salt and an appropritae volume of alcohol. Isopropyl Alcohol is effective in this precipitation process since many salts are less soluble in isopropanol than in other alcohols and require about half as much.
